This page is for K-12 (ages 6-15+) Kids Classes offered during the daytime and early evenings. We are very happy to be opening and look forward to working with you. As you scroll down to check out the classes, please be patient as we are slowly adding classes and our max enrollment is 5 students per class. More classes will be added as the fall progresses
For your first registration please be prepared to complete our new online forms which include a COVID-19 waiver. We also have a weekly waiver that must be completed upon or right before your arrival. That weekly waiver is located at the bottom of this page. Your safety and health is the reason we are here as the circus can be so much more fun that the gym! For your safety and the safety of our instructors, new changes to procedures at Spokane Aerial are below.
All students will be asked to wear masks as they enter the building.
Students will not share silks and all silks are set apart for safety and prevention of the spread of COVID-19.
Students will enter through the same door each time. The door is at the west end of the building and has a Jujitsu sign on it. Our Spokane Aerial sign is on the window right next to the door.
Students will wait at the chairs near the entrance for their instructor to escort them across the gym to the silks area.
Spectators are not allowed due to COVID-19. Please talk to your instructor if you have any questions about your minor student.
Students will be on silks that are positioned 6 feet apart.
Students and instructors at the completion of a workout will use warm cleaning solution (at the recommended amount by CDC) to wipe down all mats used during workout.
Students will bring their own labeled water bottle. No drinking fountains are available.
At the end of class all students will be escorted back to the door for exiting after class is finished.
All students will need to make sure they have all their belongings with them and they bring as few items as possible to class.
Please pay close attention to the jewelry, piercings and fingernail length disclosures at the bottom of this page before you make

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION:
1) SCROLL DOWN TO THE GRAY AREA BELOW TO SIGN UP ON OUR SOFTWARE. YOU WILL NEED AN EMAIL ADDRESS AND AN NEW PASSWORD.
2) IF YOU ARE SIGNING UP A MINOR, THE PARENT/GUARDIAN NEEDS TO COMPLETE THEIR OWN PARENT PROFILE FIRST AND AFTER THAT ADD THE CHILD AS A FAMILY MEMBER. LOOK FOR THE FAMILY LINK.
3) COMPLETE THE LIABILITY WAIVER WHEN REQUESTED DURING REGISTRATION. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BEGIN YOUR FIRST CLASS UNTIL YOUR WAIVER IS COMPLETE AND CHECKED BY YOUR INSTRUCTOR.
4) CHOOSE YOUR CLASSES AND PAY THROUGH PAYPAL.

For all you new aerialists, there are almost always openings in the Basic I Class for Beginners on the first of each month. Sign up today! NEW CLASSES RELEASED ON THE 25TH OF EACH MONTH.
Open classes in Youth Aerial Silks K-12 for March as of 2/23
1 spot open: Wednesdays 4:15 pm (ages 11+)
3 spots open: Wednesdays 5:15 pm (ages 11+)
2 spots open: Saturdays 10:30 am (ages 6-10)
Spokane Aerial Performance Arts is happy to announce our new program designed for school aged kids, K-12! Each class is 1 hour and includes a warm-up, new skill instruction on silks and hammocks and age appropriate conditioning. ***Price is $70 per month (or $17.50 per class) for 1-one hour class each week. During a shortened month, the price will be adjusted accordingly. Payments are due by the 1st of each month for continuing students. Class(es) will be canceled if payment is not received by the 1st of the month.
If you wish to sign up your child and all classes are full, please add the class to your selections on your child's user dashboard and submit it as a selection. You will not be charged and will be added to the waiting list for that class.
After the first of each month, openings can occur and students will be placed into an open spot in the order received on the waiting list.
ATTIRE: Students must wear shirts with sleeves (no tank tops or sleeveless shirts) and tight fitting pants, capri pants or footless tights. No chewing gum whatsoever. Shorts and loose clothing are not allowed. Also, no clothing with zippers, buttons, hooks or safety pins. Jewelry is NOT allowed. Earrings, nose rings, belly rings, and any other piercing is not allowed and must be removed prior to the start of class. Rings and necklaces must be removed prior to the start of class. Students will not be allowed to participate in silk classes with new piercings that cannot be removed. No exceptions. leanliness in the aerial arts while working on fabrics is important. Please be sure each students' workout clothing is freshly laundered and take care to insure good hygiene for each student prior to attending class.
Class payments are not refundable for any reason and a credit will not be issued if students get new piercings during a session. Fingernails and toenails must not be any longer than the end of the finger or toe, rounded and filed smoothly. Acrylic nails are fine if they also do not extend beyond the finger or toe, are rounded and filed smooth. Please do NOT bring valuables to class and remove your jewelry prior to class. Spokane Aerial Performance Arts is not responsible for the loss of personal items. Students will be asked to come back the next week if finger nails are too long or if jewelry cannot be removed.
PLEASE NOTE: Cleanliness in the aerial arts while working on fabrics is important. Please be sure each students' workout clothing is freshly laundered and take care to insure good hygiene for each student prior to attending class.
For safety reasons rings, necklaces, earrings, nose rings, belly rings and any other piercing is not allowed and must be removed prior to the start of class. Please do not sign up for this class if you or your child have piercings that cannot be removed. This includes belly rings. Please do not get piercings part way through your class session. Students will not be allowed to participate in silk classes with new piercings that cannot be removed. Payments are not refundable for any reason and a credit will not be issued if a student gets new piercings during a session.
